One of the first books I designed, the Dubai Mall is one of the worlds biggest malls. This was designed to follow in the footsteps of a book for the Burj Khalifa, the worlds tallest tower.

Fonts used were Shaker and Enigma, specifically chosen because of the flourishes on certain characters, reflecting Arabic writing.

This book totalled 420 pages and was handed out to dignitaries around the launch of the malls opening.

The book consists mainly of photo's with occasional articles interspersed. Care had to be taken so that the text didn't seem too spread out, so the grid had to be very flexible. Take a flick through a few pages.
