Portrait of graphic designer Martin Sully. Brand identity, logo, website and print design. New South Wales, Newcastle, Sydney, Australia.

The story so far...

I grew up on the border of Somerset and Devon, in the UK. I left the coast, friends and family, in 2005, to study design. Where I met a girl called Emilie, and she was pretty awesome.

My first role out of uni was to create statistics for 110+ seasons of soccer results. Everyone's got to start somewhere! I moved on to designing large format limited-edition books. Working with Celtic Football Club, Ferrari, MLB and The Michael Jackson Estate to name a few. I also met my childhood hero Eric Cantona.

2012, was an interesting year, I had a very narrow escape on a motorway, lost a car, brought a car, lost a job and found a new one. I began working in-house at Coventry University, producing 3 prospectus, 2 national advertising campaigns, 20+ pull up banners, social media artwork, photography, flyers, posters, business cards, editable pdf's, email campaigns, if you can think of it, I probably did it.

For all of 2012's madness, it gave me plenty of speech material for my wedding to Emilie in 2013. Everyone says marriage is an adventure...

It took us a while to start the adventure, but in January 2015, we resigned from our jobs, I created a company, and we travelled to New Zealand, where we lived, adventured and worked for 14 months.

February 2016, we moved to Newcastle, NSW. Bringing a new level of complexity, new laws, a new land and a relatively new company.

I want the company to come across as friendly, and customer service centric – I want to build long lasting relationships with my clients, if there's a problem, lets solve it. If you are delighted, tell me (and your friends). If you want to have a meeting to discuss some new plans, give me a call on 0473 929 002 or send me an email.

Rebranding for LovefromMim.com

I engaged Martin to assist in the rebrand of my Lifestyle blog. Having made the decision to change the name of the blog, I wanted a logo that represented me and what the blog was about.

Martin took my brief of what I wanted the logo to represent and we discussed colours, design and images and what he came back with could not have been more perfect. Martin worked quickly in providing me with a variety of options that all matched my brief very well.

I'm so happy with the finished logo and completely recommend Martin's design services.  He really listened to my brief, matched it perfectly and worked with professionalism throughout.

Martin was recommended to me for his skill and attention to detail. I was not disappointed. I needed design creativity that tied in closely to a product brand we were creating to promote gymnastics classes in Leisure Centres. Martin’s communication was excellent, his skills enabled his designs to effortlessly fit into the brand we had created – making all collateral for the project look seamless and unified.
